My main research program asks how children and non-human primates represent the mental states and perspectives of other individuals, and how they recruit these representations in their social interactions. The goal of this program is to try to understand how social cognitive capacities actually produce social behavior. I am currently exploring this in the context of prosocial behavior in young children, and social learning in infants.
