Hugo Viciana obtained a La Caixa scholarship to visit the BEC and the Department of Anthropology. As part of his stay here, Hugo aims at enjoying the opportunity to work together with such admirable partners as those listed in this web site and also to test specific hypotheses about the evolutionary basis of our cognitive endowments (shame, pride…) at the basis of certain social norms and conventions. He is also on the point of concluding (sometime soon, I promise) a more general book on what we ignore and what we know on human adaptations to culture.
